We worked this 8 years ago when a bunch of us were new to the sport. It's someplace to go on a hot summer's day just to get wet. But, I'm too old and wimpy to go there this time of year.
Also, I don't remember it giving up many head-dunkings. 'Course we barely knew what to do then (as opposed to now, when I think I know what to do but just can't do it).
I think I have more luck at "The Forks" or what we now call, Beaver Drop." I don't know what the number is, but the best level is when the Delaware is just flowing over the broken dam.
Yeah, Tim or I should update the posting with the info we've learned in the last few year.
In any case, if you must go out, dress really warm and don't expect much.
