School might keep people from being able to make it Labor Day weekend.
It is a democracy, only there is no government in place. Discussing potential dates here would help us all flesh out a date.
What dates work best for whoever steps up as being willing be the organizer is probably going to carry a lot of weight.
July or August seems ideal to me. Anytime as long as it has been hot for a month or two will get better rides out of everybody.

At some point Blake Turner decided the date. I put it on the calendar in my kitchen.
