I have some seam separation at the stern on my squirt boat. Any ideas on fixes?
I have been using tape. The boat looks so nice the tape is an eyesore. I have no glass repair experience. Live in Colorado.

It is possible to do an external seam repair without experience but it won't necessarily be pretty your first time doing it. As long as you are good with masking off the surrounding areas any rough looking patch can be sanded to blend in and then painted over with pigmented resin.
Sanding most of the existing external seam material off is the key to success. If it has split at the seam then the rest of the glass on either side isn't helping you strength wise anyway.
You will need: resin, hardener, seam tape, pigment, and a few other sundries.
I should mention that the woven glass material used is called "seam tape" but it is just fiberglass cloth that is made so the edges don't unravel.
John R Sweet is the place to buy the stuff from. Get the bias tape at the following page
One layer of kevlar bias tape with a couple layers of fiberglass glass tape that you can sand down later to smooth in is all you need cloth wise.
