Do people ever cut boats to add volume back into them? Any reasons this is recommended against? Just trying to increase my boat options and am competent with fiberglass but not terribly familiar with squirt boat mods. Thanks in advance for thoughts. |

Yes, people cut boats to add volume. My understanding is that a shim is added to bump up the volume a tad. |
