Little help - Snyder definition of CHARC

Hi all. Hoping someone here can help me out. In Snyder's Squirt book (the first one...illustrated guide with Nealy), he provides a definition of charc early in the text. Anyone by chance have a copy of that book around and able to reply with that paragraph or two? Greatly appreciated!

From the Glossary of Squirterms in the back.

Charc Charging arc. The angle of attack of a boat's long axis as it encounters local currents/features. Directly related to strategy or lack thereof in river running. A broad charc is perpendicular to the current; a steep charc is toward parallel. Also used in reference to people's attitudes, i.e., bad charc.

Hey, finally looked up the definition and also found it in the beginning of the book. The definition has one more sentence than what is in the beginning of the book. Went to post it and found Eric Z had already done it. That's it, and sorry for the delay. B
