Yep. Those guys hit in the morning mostly. First spam came in withing minutes of the board being set up. Many IP's are in Germany of all places but they are using a VPN for sure cuz the same message will be posted from different ip's through the day.

It is easy to set permissions to registered users only. Actually by default even for registered users the first three posts get sequestered until a mod manually approves them.
But given the track record of the board not working lately (before the change of course) it would create undue confusion if posts didn't show up right away.

So for now I have permissions wide open including allowing guest posts and am manually removing spam every few hours.
After things get going and people find their way here I will lock it back down a bit more.
