Gimmick was the working name for this radical boat. It was created with the ultimate goal of pushing the envelope of what is possible on a wave. Rocker was kept to the minimum and the planing surface is taken out to the widest point possible. All play boats can flat spin now. The Gimmick certainly does that, but we take it much further by retaining outrageous lateral speed and grip for big cut backs and blunts.

Rather than following the herd and copying Corran Addison's central disk concept or Wave Sport's down turned outside rail concept we have a completely different approach that feeds pressure to the center of the hull. Concave surfaces are the widest yet to feed maximum pressure to the center. Our approach to the trailing edges effectively trick the water to sheer on the trailing edge while providing the second radius height necessary on the leading edge for forgiveness.

This boat was worked on in secret for over a two years. The boat is now available to the public at a ocean or wave surfer.
