OK so here is the crack. The finger is pointed at the crack. Many cracks that leak are the result of a smaller blemish than the eye would think.

The crack pictured here is on a boat that does not have a gel coat. To the outside of the crack area you can see the remnants of a quick patch of pure resin. Resin on its own will seal but has no strength.
